Based near the picturesque town of Biggar in the Scottish Borders, this family business produce a wide range of fabrics and accessories which are sold throughout the world. Winner of the award for Scotland's most enterprising companies in 1988, they have become one of Britain's most renowned textile manufacturers, producing a highly innovative range of textile products.

Founded in 1974, Calzeat started by selling wool fabric for men's neckties, but within 10 years it had developed a substantial business in apparel fabrics and scarves for both men and women.
