Did You Know? The difference between Irish Whiskey and Scotch whisky (which is made in Scotland and has no "e" in the spelling) is that Irish whiskey is triple distilled while Scotch is distilled twice. Irish whiskey uses kiln-dried raw and malted barley while Scotch uses peat-smoked, wholly malted barley.
About the Artists. The ancient craft of pewter making was revived by Mullingar Pewter in 1974. Their pieces are made by craftsmen specially trained to perform the old casting methods, meticulous assembly, and delicate hand finishing, skills that take years to acquire.
