Did You Know? Each piece of Touchstone Pottery's jewelry is composed of fine-grained, translucent porcelain clay. The intricate designs consist of slip glazes fired into the porcelain at 2200°F, then the pendants are finished to a satin touch.
About the Artists. Touchstone Pottery is a small seven-person craft company based in DeWitt, Michigan that handmakes jewelry from porcelain clay. The processes they use are unique, and they are the only studio in the world producing items using this method. Their designs were originally developed in Scotland more than 25 years ago and are original illustrations of artists from Scotland, Canada, and the United States based on traditional Celtic themes.
