At first glance, the contemporary knotwork patterns etched on these graceful crystal wineglasses appear to be the same. On closer inspection, however, you can note subtle and yet delightful differences among them. Four unique designs, each named after a body of water—The Sea Knot, the Fjord Knot, the River Knot, and the Stream Knot—and each speaking to the strong spiritual connection the Celts had to water. This stunning Celtic Knot crystal wineglass collection by Aqua Vitae Stemware, featuring a brilliantly colored Swarovski crystal on each, will be appreciated by the discriminating oenophile in your life, and will make any fine wine just that much finer.

Did You Know? Celtic knotwork typically has no beginning and no end. While the original meaning of the pattern is unknown, the knotwork's complex weave designs represent the complexity of our lives and our interconnectedness with one another.
About the Artist. Contemporary Celtic artist Elizabeth Rae Armstrong is passionate about Celtic designs, which she attributes to her family roots in Scotland, Ireland, and Wales. She is also passionate about glass, a temperamental and fragile artistic medium, due to her apprenticeship with a glass sculptor while in university. She has combined these two fascinations by establishing Aqua Vitae Stemware, a crystal company that deeply sand-etches wine, whiskey, and beer glasses, hand-engraving intricate Celtic designs onto each unique piece and enhancing them with a vividly colored Swarovski crystal.
