Four knotwork patterns, each named after a body of water—The Sea Knot, the Fjord Knot, the River Knot, and the Stream Knot. Each design speaks to the strong spiritual connection the Celts had to water. They lived near water, gathered their livelihood from water, and held their burial rites in water. Honor this ancient tradition by sipping from the stunning Celtic Knot crystal whiskey glass collection by Aqua Vitae Stemware. Sand-etched by hand with four contemporary Celtic knotwork designs and featuring a brilliantly colored Swarovski crystal on each, this unique set of four Bohemian crystal whiskey glasses is an elegant gift for any connoisseur of fine spirits. May we offer you a Scotch and water, perhaps?

Did You Know? Celtic knotwork typically has no beginning and no end. While the original meaning of the pattern is unknown, the knotwork's complex weave designs represent the complexity of our lives and our interconnectedness with one another.
About the Artist. Contemporary Celtic artist Elizabeth Rae Armstrong is passionate about Celtic designs, which she attributes to her family roots in Scotland, Ireland, and Wales. She is also passionate about glass, a temperamental and fragile artistic medium, due to her apprenticeship with a glass sculptor while in university. She has combined these two fascinations by establishing Aqua Vitae Stemware, a crystal company that deeply sand-etches wine, whiskey, and beer glasses, hand-engraving intricate Celtic designs onto each unique piece and enhancing them with a vividly colored Swarovski crystal.
